The Coca-Cola Company reported strong third-quarter results, with net revenues rising 7 percent year-over-year to approximately £10.1 billion. Operating income also increased by 7 percent, supported by organic revenue growth and lower input costs, though partially offset by higher marketing investments. The company’s operating margin improved to 33.4 percent from 32 percent a year earlier, while earnings per share climbed 8 percent to around £0.70.
Volume Growth Across Key Markets
Global unit case volume rose 5 percent during the quarter, driven primarily by growth in trademark Coca-Cola, water, sports drinks, coffee, tea, and sparkling flavors. This growth was especially pronounced in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, where consumer engagement initiatives helped boost demand across multiple product lines. The regional performance showed the effectiveness of localized strategies tailored to diverse consumer preferences.
According to the company, the strong performance was fueled by investments in marketing initiatives designed to enhance brand relevance and deepen consumer connections. During the third quarter, Coca-Cola and Sprite participated in over 60 festivals across more than 20 markets, reaching over 12 million attendees. These activations allowed the brands to interact directly with consumers in high-energy environments, reinforcing emotional bonds and encouraging trial of both core and emerging products.
Marketing Campaigns Drive Brand Visibility
The company also launched an English Premier League campaign featuring British artist Central Cee, which helped strengthen cultural relevance and increase brand visibility in Europe. These efforts contributed to Coca-Cola’s ability to maintain pricing power while continuing to expand its global footprint. The integration of music and sports marketing created a distinctive brand narrative that resonated strongly with younger demographics.
“Our results this quarter demonstrate our system’s sustained momentum, giving us confidence in our updated full-year guidance,” said Henrique Braun, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company. “By staying close to consumers and executing with agility across our global system, we are delivering quality growth while continuing to invest in the capabilities, brands and people that will fuel our future.”
Following the strong quarterly performance, Coca-Cola revised its full-year outlook. The company now forecasts full-year organic revenue growth of at least 5 percent, up from its previous estimate of approximately 5 percent. Additionally, it raised its earnings per share guidance to a growth rate of at least 9 percent, compared to the earlier projection of 7 percent to 8 percent growth. These revisions reflect the company’s confidence in sustaining momentum through continued innovation, disciplined cost management, and targeted investments in high-growth categories.
Strategic Outlook and Future Investments
The updated guidance reflects Coca-Cola’s ongoing focus on balancing cost efficiency with strategic marketing investments. With input costs stabilizing and consumer demand remaining resilient across key markets, the company appears well-positioned to sustain its growth trajectory through the remainder of the year. Management emphasized that future spending will prioritize scalable digital platforms, sustainable packaging innovations, and expanded distribution networks to capture long-term value creation opportunities.
