Erspo Profile, Erigo’s Apparel Which Makes Indonesian National Team Jerseys

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The new uniform for the Indonesian national team was officially released by Erspo, the latest apparel jersey for the Garuda Squad. Later, this jersey will be used by the Red and White Team to compete in a number of competitions, including the 2026 World Cup Qualification, the U-23 Asian Cup, and the 2024 AFF U-17 Cup.

The national team’s first jersey will use the dominant color red with an embossed motif which means support from supporters, including applause, stomping of feet, the sound of spectators’ screams and the beat of drums. Apart from that, the new uniform model for the national team was also inspired by the Indonesian national team jersey in 1981 when they succeeded in beating Japan in a friendly match.

“The Indonesian national team is calling. I’ve always loved the national team, given the opportunity, I took it. “This was the inspiration when the Indonesian national team won against Japan in 1981,” said Erspo founder Muhammad Sadad at a press conference which took place in Jakarta, Monday, March 18 2024.

The second jersey is white with a retro feel and the same O-Neck model as the first jersey. For the first goalkeeper jersey, it is dominated by highlighter green with a red O-Neck circle on the sleeve. Then, the second goalkeeper’s jersey is predominantly dark blue or navy.

Erick also said that the value of the cooperation contract with Erspo reached IDR 16.5 billion, with IDR 5 billion in cash. Apart from that, there is also the term royalty which is used for the first time in collaboration between an apparel brand and the Indonesian National Team.

In this collaboration, Erspo succeeded in defeating 19 other brands that were competing to become suppliers of the Indonesian national team’s sportswear needs.
