The official website for Tamayura – More Aggressivethe second season in the Tamayura “healing” anime, began streaming its second promotional video on Saturday. The video features the opening theme “Hajimari no Umi” by returning singer Maaya Sakamotoand previews some of the new characters.

Fu Sawatari (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), the girl who had moved to her late father’s hometown last year, is settling into her second year in high school. In the video, she surprises the other returning characters with her plans to form a photography club. She has trouble recruiting members from the incoming students, but then she encounters a girl named Kanae Mitani (pictured right, voiced by Ai Kayano). Like Fu, her hobby is photography, and she uses the Pentax Q camera. She tends to overthink things and ends up unable to take action.

Creator and director Junichi Satō said that he intends to continue from where the first season left off, with characters unchanged from before. Fu will still have her father’s camera in hand and her friends by her side as she takes new steps, make new memories, and take on new challenges “more aggressively.”

The new season will premiere on July 3 on the AT-X channel at 9:30 pm before airing on Tokyo MXTV, Aichi TV, NHK Hiroshima, TV Kanagawa, SunTVand TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting Co., Ltd. The original Tamayura – Hitotose anime aired in Japan in 2011.
